Spay & Neuter Kansas City: Temporary Foster Homes Needed
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008Howdy folks – a member asked me to crosspost this request for foster homes from Spay & Neuter Kansas City.
Please add another source for available furry friends to the list of sources, since I cannot post for them on this forum: Spay-Neuter Kansas City “SNKC” is a non-profit service providing low cost-to-no cost spaying or neutering of animals for low income clients and feral animals in order to reduce the number of animals euthanized in the Kansas City area. Up to this month, they were located at 37th and Main Street in Mid-Town KC. The organization is preparing to move to a permanent location, but will be “homeless” for the next 2 months, causing a need for either foster care or permanent homes for rescued animals that they have been housing. I have copied a portion of their message below, which contains a link to their site.
If you’d like to read more about the move or contribute to their Capital Campaign in order to help renovate their new, 6,400 sf home, you can find additional info here.
Otherwise, please consider fostering or adopting from SNKC. We featured two of their fluffy felines in our Featured Adoptable series yesterday!

Greetings!
SNKC is in desperate need of foster homes for the following pets. We cannot house any of them in our temporary building and must have them in foster homes by a deadline of 10/23/2008.
Foster homes must be willing to keep pets either until we move to our new facility at the end of January 2009 or until adopted. We will provide crates, food, bedding and other necessities for these animals.
Those interested in fostering, please visit our website at www.snkc.net and submit a foster application or email us if you can help with these pets.
Sincerely,
Michelle Dormady

Please feel free to forward or cross post to anyone who might be able to help!
