Twice. Why twice? Most likely the first bullet didn't quite finish the job and the cat was writhing in agony. What other reason to shoot a helpless cat TWICE? NOT ONLY DID THE CAT SUFFER BUT IT WAS ALSO MUTILATED BY THE BULLETS-Tobey's brain was splattered all over the dirt. Then thrown in the trash like garbage. So you have animal cruelty including mutilation. I have a question for you: Why should police be above the law, and why is it that shooting a helpless, frail (only 6 pounds), declawed, toothless, deaf cat in the head twice not considered animal cruelty?? I seriously want to know because I don't understand. Does this mean it is okay for police to shoot wandering cats for target practice? And why is filing a false police report tolerated?? The cat was not large like the report alleged, and the cat was declawed so all four extremities did NOT have claws extended. This is LYING. Or does truth mean anything in a legal document anymore. Further it is disgusting they picked up the mangled cat and threw Tobey in the garbage like TRASH and told the family where to pick up their dead cat.
