Meet sisters Agatha (top) & Christie (bottom), a pair of red Siberian Husky mix pups. The duo is currently staying with Halfway Home Pet Adoptions in Kansas City, MO.

First up is Agatha:

Agatha came to the shelter with her sister Chrisite. Both of them are outgoing and fun-loving puppies, about 6 to 8 months old. Agatha is a pretty red and brown Husky mix and should be medium size when full grown. She is very playful and lively.

And Christie:

Christie came to the shelter with her sister Agatha. Both of them are outgoing and fun-loving puppies, about 6 to 8 months old. Christie is a pretty red Husky mix and should be medium size when full grown. She is very playful and lively.

Judging from their listings, Agatha & Christie don’t have to be adopted together…but wouldn’t it be awesome if they were?

Each Wednesday, the Kansas City Freecycle blog will feature one adoptable animal from a local KC rescue group or animal shelter.

We do this for several reasons:

- To highlight the plight of companion animals in the Kansas City area.

- To remind members of our no-animal policy, and provide an alternative venue for members who wish to adopt an unwanted animal.

- To encourage members to adopt a furry friend.

- To help out out local animal rescue groups and animal shelters, many of which are overwhelmed by the sheer number of animals in need.

- To illustrate these animals’ unique personalities and characteristics, thus underscoring the fact that they are not objects and should not be “freecycled”.
