Subject: INFO: Missouri River Cleanup – Oct. 6
I thought maybe you could pass this on to the KC Freecycle group. Perhaps they’ll want to volunteer as well…..
There is a Missouri River Cleanup scheduled for Saturday, October 6. I’ve volunteered for this before and had a really good time, even though it is hard, dirty work.
Here is a little info regarding the cleanup and the URL:
Register at their website: www.riverrelief.org.
Missouri River Relief will be hosting our fifth annual Kansas City area Missouri River Clean-up on October 6. We are expecting a big crowd, and we hope you’ll join us for the fun! We’ll be joined by a fleet of agency boat drivers who will shuttle you to select spots along the Big Muddy to clean up her banks. All volunteers will be served lunch when they return.
Thanks for letting me share this information.
